At the beginning of September, 1915, after a period of trench instruction they moved into the front line at Fleurbaix in northern France,. When the Battle of Loss kicked off on 25th September, 1915, 7th Cornwall Light Infantry took part in a demonstration at Fleurbaix designed to keep the Germans occupied and prevent reinforcements being sent to Loos. |
